ABOUT AT VERMEJO RANCH PARK

Letter from Ted Turner

I am pleased that you are considering Vermejo Park Ranch in beautiful northern New Mexico. Vermejo Park offers unparalleled opportunities to hunt, fish and explore nature in one of the largest tracts of privately owned land in the West. You will see large herds of elk, deer, antelope, and bison on Vermejo Park, with their natural predators, such as black bears and mountain lions. We are also working to bring back species that once made the Ranch their home, such as Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, black-tailed prairie dogs, black-footed ferrets, Rio Grande cutthroat trout and eventually wolves. Not only is Vermejo Park a unique place to enjoy and interact with the natural world, but we are also very proud of the manner in which our guests are taken care of while staying on the Ranch. We think you will find that our food, lodging, and hospitality are equal to the beautiful environment they reside in. If quality, uniqueness, and value set the standard for your next hunting, fishing, nature tourism or corporate retreat then Vermejo Park Ranch is the destination in your future. Please contact our great staff and let them design a visit just for you.
